Who is Oliver Savage?

I believe there are a lot of people who, like me, long for a hero who is not stuck in his own head. Oliver Savage, is a guy who, despite his wealth, is (pretty) normal. He’s tough, intelligent, and classic. I tried to draw on the side of Hollywood of yesteryear when tough guys were also gentlemen and well attired. I meant for him to embody the phrase, men want to be him, and women want to be with him. It's all very central to the feel of my writing. Oliver seeks to live well even in simple ways, adding spice to the mundane. He has good taste, and a lust for life. Lastly, Oliver makes no apologies for being a man; he loves cars, women, bourbon, and cigars. Not necessarily in that order.
